We know every guest has a wishlist of animals so reach out to us and talk to us before you book so that we can advise you on which times might be better and give yourself the best chance to see the wildlife your interested in.
This is especially true for the animals of the night, like the hyenas, honey badgers, Sivets, bush-pigs and leopards. So talk to us first.

Note: Dark non reflective clothing is a requirement and lens covers if its not black.

Directions to Ukuta game reserve
From Johannesburg
- Take the N1 north to Polokwane
- At the Kranskop toll gate keep left and turn off towards Modimolle
- Drive straight through Modimolle and keep on that road towards the town of Vaalwater.
- Drive through Vaalwater and turn rght at the SPAR and TOTAL garage to the R33 towards Lephalale. Drive for 19km on that road.
- You will see the Ukuta farm gate and sign on your right hand side.
- Please contact us for entry into the premises.

With regards to
Accommodation and bookings
- If two units / 4 adults make a booking then the lodge is for the exclusive use of the party and no other units will be bookable for unrelated guests.
- If 1 unit is booked then 1 other unit will be available to be booked by unrelated guests and the lodge will be shared between the guests occupying the 2 units.
- 1 Group is allowed to book all 4 units (both the Chalets and Tents) for their use, but guests must note their is a maximum of 4 guests allowed in Hornbill hide, and 5 guests in Sable Hide at any one session.
- Sable overnight hide can only accommodate 2 guests at a time.
- A maximum of 5 persons can book the horse riding activity at any one time.
- A maximum of 8 people can book the Big 5 game drives at one time.

Terms & Conditions
- Bookings are confirmed when 15% of the total daily rate is paid by EFT or credit card.
- No personal or bank guaranteed cheques are accepted.
- The daily rate balance is payable on commencement of your stay.
- Clients can cancel and receive refund (minus bank charges) if they cancel 1 month before commencement date. If client cancels within 1 month of planned date of arrival client will not receive refund, but will be able to re-book their trip on another date.
- All clients are required to sign our indemnity form, before your stay with us commences.
- Ukuta Bush Lodge does not accept any responsibility for loss, theft, personal injury or death arising during or after your stay with us. Please arrange own medical cover, travel insurance and cancellation cover.
